At Havana we pride ourselves on a unique perspective and will continue to provide you with the ideas and the style that will make you feel your best. Education and communication will remain a priority at Havana, knowing that our skills and ability to translate them to the client go hand in hand.
At Havana we pledge to our community to give back with our time and service.
Like most startup businesses, Havana shares a history of humble beginnings. We swung the doors open in 2002 with a lot of sweat and ambition, we hit the ground running, talking to anyone that would listen about our passion to make a difference in the local world of beauty.
Local Charity has always been a large focus at Havana. Over the course of 9 years we have donated an abundance of our time to Non-Profits(501) such as the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA/YWCA. It has been our honor to also perform the role of Educator, Stylist Mentor, and Beauty Columnist contributor to local stylists and News Publications.
Havana will continue to offer the public our service both in and out of the salon, recognizing that what got us here are the people in our community.
After skating for Disney On Ice in 2004, Elisha returned to her home town of Portland, Oregon; eager to pursue a career in the beauty industry. She began her dream in the cosmetic world when she was recruited into Clinique's freelance artistry position where she traveled throughout Oregon and Washington educating and beautifying women. Elisha attended school for hair design at the International Beauty School in Portland, Oregon. Following the completion of her schooling, Elisha was inspired to open her very own salon. As a result "Studio E" was opened in 2008. Eager to grow Elisha teamed up to revamp her salon space and re open as Havana Salon in 2010. Jessica began her career in 2005 at Scot Lewis School of Cosmetology, a Paul Mitchell Focus School, in Bloomington, MN. Upon receiving her certificate, she then went on to pursue continued education through Regis Corporation. This opportunity allowed her to work side by side with some well known hair stylists and entrepreneurs. This truly gave Jessica the technical skill set and tricks needed to provide an amazing one-on-one hair experience. Jessica then went on to work with LifeSpa in Eden Prarie, MN. Jessica also worked for a couple years in a children's salon before moving out to Salem, Oregon and joining the Havana team. As a stylist, Jessica shares her energy, creativity, and passion for her work with others.email Jessie
